Congratulations to the Gulf Coast Blue Chips!

The Gulf Coast Blue Chips, a 13 and under youth basketball team based out of Houston, TX and sponsored by Ronnie Price recently participated in the 13 and under AAU national basketball tournament which was held in Memphis,TN June 27th to July 4th. The young men finished 9th out of a group of over 100 teams and achieved their season's goal of finishing in the top ten at nationals.

Ronnie Price was born June 21, 1983 in Friendswood, Texas. At 5-foot-8, he was considered undersized as a senior at Clear Brook High School. With no scholarships in the bank, Price walked-on at Nicholls State University. He quickley grew in height and starting racking up the points. After his freshman year he transfered to Utah Valley State College where he quickly emerged into a star.
Price was not drafted to the NBA, but was given the opportunity to work out for teams like the Jazz, Kings and Pistons. He decided to sign and play for the Kings in 2005. In 2007, after two years in Sacramento, Price signed as a free agent to play with the Jazz...
